An insecure self help guru is trying to salvage his career when the newest super villain in town kidnaps him and his girlfriend in order to make the guru help him realize his full potential as a villain.

It's meant to be a comedy, with some action in there as well, but primarily comedy.

I like the concept! I am a little confused by the fact that the self help guru is insecure. That said I do remember on a TV show called 'In Case of Emergency' the self help guru character was definitely insecure - however that show was of course a comedy. Is your script a comedy? Or an action drama along the lines of Batman Begins, The Amazing Spider-man, Watchmen etc
