I wish I could edit my log lines, but I'll just do it again with a correction (and expanding the plot a bit)
I like it MUCH better than the earlier version. The road trip is more cinematic.
But there's something wrong with your sentence syntax...
I assume the programmer must stop the speaker from killing himself (before they arrive at their destination)?
