I think Richiev's version highlights the goal of escaping the Sasquatch and the government agency which I think is more important than simply escaping the wilderness (she's a forest ranger... surely this is where she's most comfortable?).

My only query is why does the government agency want to kill her? I think that maybe needs to hinted at. I'm guessing it's to keep the Sasquatch's existence under wraps but I think that motive is important to understanding the story.

A forest ranger must escape the Oregon wilderness whilst hunted by a sasquatch and the government operatives out to eliminate them both.

"When a hesitant forest ranger is kidnapped by a sasquatch, she escapes the beast only to be hunted by both the creature and a secretive government agency out to kill them both."
