Yep, that's definitely valid. It's all about selecting the most complementary elements, isn't it?
I guess rather than his impulse-driven hedonism, it might be worth mentioning that he feels a desire to connect with his dead father through the work, or... yeah, this one needs a bit more pondering. Thanks.
How are the funeral home and the hedonistic man intrinsically linked? It seems like he could just sell the funeral home and move on, spending the money on himself which would presumably be in character.
