That they can offered up against their will, without their voluntary consent as “lab rats”.? A violation of every norm in contemporary medical ethics.? And a re-incarnation of the medical experiments the Nazis performed.
That would, indeed, be a horror story.
What is the putative benefit humanity might gain at the daughter’s expense?? In general terms, what is the “aging experiment” , to? have the child prematurely age in order to, well,.what?? Why is the ideal “human/rat” a young person?

” I wanted to write a typical home invasion story,…”? ?Regardless of how the film reveals information to a movie audience,? the target audience for a logline? is? movie makers, not movie viewers.? So a? logline should pitch? what is not typical about a story, what? sets it apart from similar stories.? As they say in marketing , a logline should? sell the sizzle, not the steak.? And to mix and mangle metaphors, the sizzle in your story is the cult.? The logline should focus on the sizzle .
