You have included most of the essential story elements but at the beginning of the story, Luke is really not a fighter pilot yet. He's a farm boy who doesn't believe he could ever be a jedi fighter. Can you include this in a concise way at the end of the logline? "he must seek a Jedi master to learnRead more

You have included most of the essential story elements but at the beginning of the story, Luke is really not a fighter pilot yet. He’s a farm boy who doesn’t believe he could ever be a jedi fighter. Can you include this in a concise way at the end of the logline?

“he must seek a Jedi master to learn from” sounds like it is the story’s main goal, which it is not. You may easily leave this bit out. It seems more important to retrieve the plans, save the princess and destroy the Death Star.

I'm not a fan of the movie but this is a good logline! It covers all the essential story elements and promises me a better movie than I remember seeing.

I assume that the psychologist is the hero. But what should we expect to happen in this movie? But what should we expect to happen in this movie? “Revisit his childhood fears” is not an interesting premise as it doesn’t promise us anything in particular. What does this look like?

“Find the truth behind his encounters”… is a mystery story. We don’t know what genre this is going to be. What is the nature of these encounters? Too many vague notions are piled upon each other, not really giving us an idea of what type of movie to expect.

Why is the psychologist an interesting character? Will he learn anything along the way?

Some of these issues could be resolved if the child is traumatized and the simple purpose is for the psychologist to make the apparitions go away.
