Old logline: “An unfocused aspiring author must take on unrelated (and more real-worldly) goals to help scope his ambitions despite needing to meet self-imposed deadlines for his debut novel.”
Theme: “Reinventing yourself versus reinventing the wheel.”
Hi Lotcher,
How about this:
To help scope his ambitions and despite his efforts to meet all self-imposed deadlines, an aspiring author must take on non-fictional goals.
I hope this helps
Hi Ben,
Your response made me realise that part of my logline came off as unclear, here is a revision:
“An over-ambitious aspiring author must focus significant time on long neglected relationships to improve his mental wellbeing all whilst struggling to meet self-imposed deadlines for his debut novel.”
Hi Lotcher,
That is great. Sounds much better.
I wrote you another version anyways.
“To refine his mental health amidst tensions of meeting self-imposed deadlines, an over-ambitious author must revisit his long-neglected relationships.”
I hope this helps.
Good Luck
Ben
