A mixed-race young girl (half spanish, half senegalaise) builds her own identity after being raised up by two parents with extremely different cultures.

I like the concept of a coming of age story involving a teenager struggling with identity, cultural and ethnic issues. Lots of potential for interesting and compelling dramatic conflict.

However, what is she struggling toward? What is her objective goal? "Build her identity" -- that's subjective and abstract, to wit invisible. Film is a visual medium. A logline should state a concrete goal; that is, a goal that the audience can SEE on the screen and, therefore, know whether she has succeeded or failed.

While a mixed-race young girl builds her own identity and sets her goals in life, her senegalaise father and spanish mother -who have differents cultures and points of view- have other plans for her.

This seems more like a situation than a story. What is the goal of the protagonist? What's the opposition? Is there a resolution possible by the end? Feels more like a sitcom as currently described.
