Maybe I’m getting old, but what does smack-cam mean?

If he does, what ever it is, to the homeless guy, is it really an inciting incident or just a continuation of his modus operandum?

It sounds as if the home invasion is really the inciting incident, to that matter what does he do in response to rectify the situation? What is his goal?

Lastly why would the audience care about a guy who does something bad to a poor homeless man? Ultimately he gets what he deserves as a result.

There’s something really iffy about pranksters and vloggers as movie protags, I feel that if it worked well it would have been done a bit more by now. It is topical though.

As Nir said the event needs to be more of an accident or someone making an action against him, one he didn’t see coming, one that never happens to other pranksters.

I like the idea of the hook and home invasion but why would we root for the pranked to survive if he just smacked a homeless person for views on the Internet? I fail to see why this protagonist is sympathetic.

You need a different lead character.

The lead character should be a friend who had nothing to do with the “Prank”

However the lead, the prankster and a bunch of teens are in the house (A party maybe) an the killer guts them one by one whether guilty or innocent.

Now it’s up to the lead character to stop the deranged homeless man.

Hope that helped, good luck with this
