When a bank examiner realizes the evidence in the multi-billion dollar fraud case he is investigating?leads to him, he must find the imposter before he is arrested.

There’s no need to ID the antagonist in the logline or his motivation; ?loglines should not contain spoilers. ?That’s the mystery the protagonist has to solve. ??(And probably the more accurate genre description is mystery rather than thriller, ?albeit it’s not in the list.)

      Agreed with DPG.

Look at the Training tab on the top bar of this website, it may help you understand the preferred structure? for a logline.

A significant and out of the ordinary event motivates a flawed character to take action in order to achieve a compelling goal.

Fundamentally, you only need to describe a motivating event and an inciting incident – in your case him being framed, and a goal – in your case catching the culprit.? Best to keep the logline under 30 words, and be sure to be clear about who does what.
