      Hi Soate

This sounds like a pitch, not like a logline.

Not being familiar with either Street Crime UK (I’m assuming that this is a TV show, and not actual street crime in the united kingdom?) nor Spring Heeled Jack, I can’t picture your film at all. Who is it about and what are they doing?

      Hello, there!

Yeah, I think you’re probably right about this sounding more like a pitch. I should and shall elaborate!

Basically, Street Crime UK is the UK equivalent of COPS, where police are followed by a camera crew and have their work – usually conducted over the course of a night in a largely populated city – documented.

Spring-Heeled Jack is an urban legend that haunted London during the 1800s! He was thought to be a very athletic, “mischievous” character who terrorised women and vandalised the streets.

He is in my mind a fantastic character to try to juxtapose onto the programme’s format, being as he is a potential embodiment of antisocial crime and behaviour – something that these show’s thrive on. Add to that what I thought was his pretty well-known legend and I thought it could be a pretty good found footage horror film effort!

I’ll try to amend the pitch to suit the specifications of a log line though. Thanks!
