I am not sure what you mean by deadly recordings? In what way are the recordings deadly? Does the person who watches the recordings die?
Or instead, do you mean that she discovers recordings of her parent’s death, which is a completely different thing.
“When she discovers recordings of the events leading to her parent’s death, a Japanese American must…” (Then tell us what the lead character must do)
I think she must try to escape herself from being killled.
Exciting… but it’s like you need the action. How does the tapes/recordings turn her life around. What is her quest…?
