      >>>The pursuit of the tacos is the goal, Zen hipsters

BUT the failed cook shuts down the duck taco truck. The major complication.

Now what? WHO must do WHAT to get the truck back a-cookin’?

this a very unusual story, I’m new to this but shouldn’t there be a goal which he needs to achieve because he has been derailed.

Still, what’s the conflict here? How does the protagonist seek to overcome this obstacle?

this is a short, maybe that’s why it seems it’s over just as it begins.

      Hi,

It almost seems like the story is over before it begins. If perhaps the food truck drove cross country that would derail his quest and require your protagonist to venture out after it. If the food truck has been shut down though there doesn’t seem like there’s much he can do, unless the plot involves him cleaning the kitchen to bring it back up to standard?

Is this the event or the action? (The set up or the story?)
