Is the main character a true believer? That is, is he a religious person who believes the particular doctrines of the church, including those that condemn his sexual orientation? Thus,is he also trapped in moral dilemma between what he believes and what he is?
It means you have told us the entire story and we don’t need to watch the movie 🙁
The logline should give us an incident that get’s it going, (Presumably the lead getting assaulted) give us a lead character (A gay youth) And then give us the goal of the lead character (?)
It shouldn’t give away the ending. (The lead character commits suicide)
So you have a good portion of the logine but you haven’t told us the lead characters goal- and have given away the ending.
