yep – “before the animal hunger takes over.” It clarifies the stakes and adds in a ticking clock. Perfect. I’m going to submit this one tomorrow and we’ll see what the world has to say 🙂

When his regular blood supply runs dry, a pacifist vampire must rob a mobile blood bank before the animal hunger takes over.

Yeh that sounds like a very cool idea for a film. And very funny. I see what you mean about the fact he’ll die being in the first part of the logline… however I didn’t know he’d die… as I’m not that up on vampires… wouldn’t he go and savage a human if he was that hungry – would it drive him to abandon his pacifism…?

After his regular blood supply dries up, a pacifist vampire must rob a mobile blood bank, or abandon his morals…

      ??? Just thoughts !

Well, if the vampire fails to get more blood, he’ll die. It’s kind of tied up in the whole being-a-vampire schtick 🙂 – I think (hope) this is implied by the first part of the logline (having run out of blood) and that he is identified as a vampire. Is it worth re-iterating?

“After his regular source of food dries up, a pacifist vampire must rob a mobile blood bank in order to survive.”

Essentially, this film IS about a gang of vampire blood bank robbers. That’s the part that I find funny / worth making. I’m not that interested in writing a straight heist, nor am I really that keen on a vampire file in and of itself. But a heist film that turns out to have been a vampire film all along? That sounds like something I’d gladly sit through 🙂

pacifist vampire LOL… great stuff… must rob a mobile blood bank ( or what ) ?

I was thinking of the logline for Grabbers:

When an island off the coast of Ireland is invaded by bloodsucking aliens, the heroes discover that staying drunk and keeping their blood-alcohol level high is the only way to survive…

So we see that if they don’t stay drunk, they’ll die.

What will happen to your pacifist vampire if he fails to rob the bank ?

extra thought: movie about a gang of Vampire (blood) Bank Robbers ?
