Except that if she’s only been accused, why would she be transported anywhere? Wouldn’t she be locked up in jail, pending the outcome of her trial?

And wouldn’t the inciting incident be her being accused (or tried)– not the plane crash? As in the movie “The Fugitive” with the bus crash, the plane crash would be an end of Act 1 lucky reversal that gives her chance to break free to find the real culprit, prove her innocence.

I didn’t read that it was a prisoner transport, just that she was on a plane that goes down.

Once on the ground she is chased by her husband and she must escape.

In my attempt “while figuring out how to prove her innocence.? could probably be dropped since this is about her in the wilderness escaping from her husband.

      Thanks for your thoughts,
She is in custody being transported for hearing.
The inciting incident is her arrest. The plane crash is toward the end of act 1.
I am new at this but learning.

When her prison transfer plane crashes, an unjustly convicted lawyer escapes to retrieve the proof of her innocence while trying to evade the corrupt U.S Marshall who framed her: her husband.
