In 'Found Photos' style, a pair of Google Street View car drivers unknowingly take a photo of a dangerous cult performing a ritualistic killing in a remote field and are pursued by them. Detectives are left with an abandoned car and a series of mysterious photos in order to find the pair before it's too late. Who is the lead character, what do they want, what is standing in the way.

Thanks, yeah thought it was pure horror, the protagonist and his fellow driver need to escape these cult members that they’ve revealed to the world. The villainous cult members stand in the way of that. The police are left with eerie photos to piece together what happened and where is the protagonist..

We will be following someone or experiencing the story from their POV so start there.

“A detective must solve a murder with occult traits with only the photos from by the victims Google Street view car as a starting point”.

You can add more from there.

it seems like you have two protagonists. The cop which makes it a crime thriller. The driver which makes it a horror if the majority of the script is about escaping.
When a driver for google maps uncovers a cult, he is pursed and captured by them. He must escape if he ever wants to see google maps again……

The theme is great in my opinion, the logline needs to be elaborated as the other commenters also mentioned.

You have a very original idea but not a logline.

      Something like:

“When a pair of Google Street View car drivers disappears, a tenacious detective must analyze the mysterious photos they took in order to find them before it’s too late.”

      Or

“When a pair of Google Street View car drivers accidentally takes pictures of a strange cult performance and suddenly disappear, a tenacious detective must analyze the mysterious photos they took in order to find them before it’s too late.”

“When two homies from the Bronx are abducted by the Plattsburg Ku Klux Klan, the only thing that can save their lives is a pair of vague Google Street View photos left in their abandoned car.”

I guess that a detective/FBI agent will try to find them is clear.
