Just curious; transporting Patient Zero sounds important. Why is the job handed to a rookie?

I understand the plot, but not the conflict. What happens if he fails? Why is the job being handed to him, instead of a more seasoned professional?

You do a good job establishing the setting, and I can already see the potential for lots of great action as your MC fights to control his zombified charge through a minefield of the undead. Good luck with this!

This is why I’m posting here.. Thanks for the insight! I’m having a lot of trouble distilling down this story to the basics. Maybe you have an opinion.. IF my main character isn’t human (but very similar) do I need to state that in the logline?

If it is common knowledge and important to the story, I would add that the protagonist isn’t quite human in the logline. (If it doesn’t add too many words)

      If it’s a big reveal I wouldn’t.
