Hello, this is an interesting idea, but you should try to write the story from the point of view of the main character. I can’t think of the mother as the main character (but she appears to be the MC in your logline). The child would be difficult too. Maybe the father? Anyway, once you choose your main characer (the one who can learn the most at the end of the movie) you can write the logline from his point of view.

If the mother is the MC then this is a very negative story with a down ending killed then coerced a child to kill for revenge.
If it is the child then they could learn a lesson and teach the mother spirit that revenge is wrong and have the father arrested.
Who is the MC?
