      Just a quick side note. You could also title this story: Recalculating.

      Because when you make a wrong turn the GPS says, “Recalculating”

      and it seems as though the father’s life has taken a wrong turn and he’s ‘recalculating’ his life.

      Just a thought. Good luck with this!.

      I’m not sure why, but I kind of imagined this as a ridiculous comedy/horror while reading (Cabin in the Woods, Shaun of the Dead).
