Thanks, Richiev this is very helpful. Not mixing fictional characters with real ones.

The next logline will again be enlightened …

You are absolutely right. therefore this attempt is just practicing writing loglines. I don?t consider all loglines I write ?to become something?.

What karenfoley said. The copyright issues alone render the concept DOA.

      1) Bruce lee didn’t have powers, he had skills. I don’t know how you would take someones skills away.

      2) Bruce Lee was a real person, the Avengers are fictional characters. Just saying it’s a parallel universe doesn’t mean the reader will suspend disbelief.

      3) Bruce Lee’s redemption: The title is confusing, nothing in the logline suggests Bruce Lee needs redemption.

      4) I agree with karenfoley. If this is a real project it won’t work because you would need the rights to make the movie… (and if it is a practice logline it needs some work.)

Anyway, I hope those critiques helped, hope to see more of your loglines.

Why not create some original characters and exercise your creativity? It’s OK to ignore major copyright issues if this is a fan project or a short film with no commercial intentions. But as an idea for a feature film screenplay written by a writer without extensive Hollywood writing credits it’s frankly a non-starter.
