I know what their motive would be – she made them join a book club.

That does bring up an interesting point. My original idea was a ‘mystery writer’s club’ but I figured more people would know about a book club than a writing club.

I feel like the title needs to be more punny, but that’s just me. Something signalling the “whodunnit” concept.

      Great point jfowoot.

Originally it was going to be a writing club not a book club. The idea would be, for your story to grab the readers attention you should always ‘start with a murder’

Now that it’s a book club, the title makes less sense. Need a better one.

What about a murder mystery writers’ meetup group? When the organizer of the meetup is killed… yada-yada.
