A plot is about the action that follows, the consequences that ensue as a result of a decision made.? A? plot and a logline is about all the moments to follow the decision.

More difficult for me to buy into is the the idea that a wife asking her husband to commit suicide with her can be construed in any way as an act of love.? Coming from her,? it's an act of? utter selfishness.? Hence, I am unable to view the choice as a true dramatic dilemma.

Now if were his idea to join her in suicide rather than go on living without her ... but that's not the premise of the logline.

From the 3 logline elements (Event, Character, and Action) you have Event and Character. Your Action, though, is "choosing between A and B."

Choosing is a momentary action, not one that can sustain a feature story. Think: what action can keep the Second Act going? That kind of action (pursuit, goal, objective) ia what you are looking for.

Why choosing to die with her is "love?" If she loved him, she would want him to live and find happiness. At least, that's what I think. Others, too
