I concur with CraigBerger. Although my sense of an effective logline is to be able to introduce the nain protagonist and what's at stake in one or two lines.

This logline is all over the place. Don't try to tell the whole story in the logline. Give us the protagonist, tell us something about him or her, give us his or her goal and the main obstacle to that goal. Include a twist that makes it different from what we've seen before. Try to put it all in one sentence. That's it.
