I really like the idea! If this film was at the movies, I would definitely go and see it.
Thank you guys. Now I see two things:
first ? my first version was too flat. Your dpg, has more power and is stronger.
second ? it is important to (and I forgot about this) describe a personal conflict ? in this case "pastor's wife" is enough to see a lot of hard situations for her and this is a great driver for whole story.
Thx. again.
.....Replace "kill" with "execute"
Now, that's COLD!
Yes! Especially the empowerment implicit in the concept of "best therapy"!
Hell hath no fury like a woman gang raped.
Feed on the rage!
I would make it more transformational by making her meek and mousy, and morally ambiguous by making her the spurned wife of a pastor.
Try this?...
"Still suffering from acute trauma ten years after a brutal gang rape, a spurned, mousy, submissive pastor's wife decides that her best therapy and chance at marital redemption is to stalk and kill her attackers one by one."
(Gives me chills!)
Still suffering from acute Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder 10 years after a brutal gang rape, a woman decides that the best therapy is to hunt down and kill her attackers.
