As Valentin asked: what/why is she escaping or what/why is she pursuing? Doesn't seem to be much dramatic tension to arouse and sustain an audience's interest.
And the logline lists 2 motivations when it should only list one. Which reason for traveling is more important? Which one is the story driver? And what is the objective goal that arises out of that motivation?
Why is she taking a break? That could the inciting incident.
Also why is she coming home? Is she running from something or toward something?
Ridden by guilt after the accidental death of a child during a routine operation, a career obsessed intern comes home to reconnect with her family, long lost friends and rekindle her long distance romance.
yes, she's just taking a "break", indicating that there will be a return.
