When a serial killer uses his exploits as inspiration to become a screenwriter, issues arise when he suspects a colleague of wanting to steal more than just his work.

Interesting, think about the following when reconstructing the logline.
1. What was the event that made him say “hmm, I’m going to be a writer”? I’m looking for a (serial killer size) inciting incident 😊.
2. Can “screenwriter” be replaced with a novelist to capture more of an audience? Stephen King’s a novelist, you get the idea.
3. I cannot envision “issues arise” what was the most critical issue? You may find later this will change or you could lose altogether.
4. Who is this colleague - his ghostwriter? A rival serial killer?
5. What else does this colleague want to steal? I mean, I wouldn’t want to steal anything from a guy who skins people 😉 but… maybe that other thing is your hook?

Take care.
