    It is true that it is easier to tell a story through a single person. This is because we need a POV. But since everyone is getting the same information at the same time, in the same place , it is a shared experience. Therefore the group can be treated as a protagonist.

    I see you (collective term) may have tripped up on how the traitors work in the story. They work for the madman. Let me think of a rewrite.

    QE1 must enter hell and endure a series of moral tortures based on her own actions as queen to defeat the devil and save England from a pandemic.

    My version is crap. But you have an idea of the shape of the movie. Set in hell, a few demons perhaps … that sort of thing.
