Agree with FFF.??Being bound and gagged implies serious jeopardy.? And I think it could be even shorter. When a rambunctious young clubber wakes up bound and gagged in the trunk of a speeding car she must use her wits and the contents of her handbag to escape. (30 words)

When a charming but careless?petty thief impulsively kills a policeman, he must collect?money owed?him to flee?the country.
    (21 words)

    That’s the “A” story.

“Convincing his ex-girlfriend to come along” is the “B” story.

Loglines are usually about the “A” story, not the “A” and “B” story.???In this case getting the money to flee the country is?the urgent, necessary?action, what?he absolutely must do.? Getting? the girl, his ex,?to?join him is a bonus but not a requirement.

Unless emotionally, he can’t bear to leave the country without her.? Even so,,?emotional complications, subjective needs, relationship issues are the business of the “B” story.? The?business of the “A” story, the focus of the logline, is that he needs to get the money to get out of the country.
