    The reference to “Moonrise Kingdom” is particularly apt. In that movie the attraction is mutual: girl and boy are drawn to each other for what they really are which others don’t appreciate. They accept each other as they are –It’s not a case where the girl made the boy’s casting cut for some private fantasy or dream ideal. Or vice-versa.

    So I’m sticking to my guns on the general principle.

    Yeah, guys are guys (god, if she exists, forgive and help us!), but the premise is s-o-o over used, ergo, s-o-o-o unoriginal.
