    Unfortunately, I don’t see what the plot is, yet. ?I can envision several possibilities for a plot — but it’s your story, ?not mine. ?Until the ex shows up ?there seems to be no apparent threat to their lifestyle and swindling. ?And after she appears, it’s not clear how he MUST respond to the threat of the IRS sting operation .

    Also the appearance of the ex seems like a 2nd Act, midpoint complication — not an inciting incident. ?And loglines are not about midpoint complications.

    What is the inciting incident? ?The guy getting charmed or the discovery that she’s a fellow con?

    Seems like a contradiction. What is his real motivation? ?Is he pursuing revenge under the guise of love?

    I agree with Nir Shelter. And what threat does the "political enemy" pose that the characters are supposed to defend against? ? Running against the mayor in the next election? ?Nothing illegal about that. ?What dramatic problem justifies the need to deploy "giants"?

    When a jaded business woman tries to sell her eye-sore car to an optimistic college student, they find a time capsule of forgotten items from her youth. Bonding over discovered similar interests, they desperately try to grapple the generational gap, nostalgia and envy of each other’s lives. Ultimately, the woman is forced to either go through with the sale and let go of the past, or hold onto the car which encapsulates it.
