    If she's dissatisfied with her relationship, then what is she really risking? Enter children then you have something there. The way you have it written, this woman is not someone I can root for to succeed with this plot. Any other stakes you can mention?

    As DK already posted, the first thing that was confusing was the relationship between a language translation subject and then bio warfare. That has to be bridged somehow or scrapped completely. I hope your plot is sound enough not to actually have one lead to the other by some chance. That would beRead more

    I hope your plot is sound enough not to actually have one lead to the other by some chance. That would be a plot hole hard to fix.

    On the plus side, a universal translator is? an interesting idea to explore, albeit, not a fresh one.
