    Maybe I'm wrong but I find all of it very confusing. Is he really misanthropic if he sees her as the one who can revive his career?     Maybe I’m wrong but I find all of it very confusing. Is he really misanthropic if he sees her as the one who can revive his career? Hopeless/desperate might be better, unless you are sure that your character hates mankind… ?And if he sees an actress as the savior of his career, it might be better for him to be a publicist than a social media influencer.

    Also, I am confued about what a fortune-telling cigar is doing here. I do not think you need to put this into your logline as it confuses me even more.

    In hopes of reviving his career, a hopeless publicist makes it his mission to marry an aspiring actress.

    You could play around with the funny side of the story (how he tries to get her to fall in love with him while hiding his true purpose) and the dramatic side of things (he is sad because he does not truly love her even though his career rose again).
