Does ?reject? mean kill? Otherwise why does he become a ghost. You could have two stories here that run parallel. What if murders were happening and the killer was leaving a calling card? A tattoo on his victims that this person is known for doing, and he has to unravel the mystery behind his own design inspirations to unravel the true nature of this killer.

If somehow he’d rigged the show, to get a lost love on there in the hopes of picking him over the other two, you’d naturally have conflict as he tries to win her over trying to beat the other two.
