I’m interested to know more about these guys’ stories and why they are so committed to taking such drastic actions ….

    I'm assuming the sheriff has the power to return him to jail if he doesn't co-operate ... what is the dilemma for him ... he probably doesn't mind being involved in a kidnap if he is a convict ... or does he? What was he convicted of?
