I like this the way it is and I understand that the antagonist is whoever kidnapped the wife or perhaps who runs the game show, but you could consider adding some more details. And maybe you could consider adding more detail about the game show itself. Is it a simple game like Russian Roulette or something far more complex like Running Man?
