In what way? Who is the protagonist, the grandmother? What is personally at stake for her (other than that grandmothers always worry about their grandchildren)? What is the action she stakes after her granddaughter (presumably) leaves her groom at the altar?

I'm intrigued by the flip on the zombie movie - world of zombies, uninfected 'outbreak' occurs. I don't understand what actually happens in your story - how you take advantage of this fun genre play.
