    Hi Cave Dude,

I like it! A fun con movie in the vein of Tower Heist/Ocean’s 11, and perhaps Mr and Mrs Smith. The main character (although maybe a flaw should be mentioned), antagonist, and goal are all there. And the antagonist being her ex adds that extra layer of conflict!

What’s a little unclear is the stakes…might be worth squeezing into the logline if there’s room. What happens to her if she doesn’t stop her ex? It must be bad if she’s willing to break into the Louvre to install her own security. Is it a defining moment of her career, is she doing it as part of a deal to avoid jail, or as an act of revenge?

Maybe a deal to avoid jail AND revenge, but over the course of the movie things re-ignite with her ex and force her to make a tough decision?

I like the idea of illegally installing her own security, although I’m worried this stops her interacting directly with her ex, which would deny us all the adrenaline fueled “love/hate” verbal sparring this movie promises. 🙂

    Hope that helps!

As a result of an HIV scare, a college playboy vows to stop his womanizing ways and become abstinent, but this lifestyle change proves difficult and temptation won't take no for an answer.

Like the idea of a playboy abstaining from sex, but find a way to up the stakes so we care more. What happens if he fails and goes back to his womanizing ways? At the moment...nothing much as long as he wears a condom. Also, reminds me of the movie "40 Days and 40 Nights", where a young man vows toRead more

Also, reminds me of the movie “40 Days and 40 Nights”, where a young man vows to stay celibate during the 40 days of Lent, but finds the girl of his dreams and is unable to do anything about it.

Cool idea for a Sixth Sense-like supernatural thriller! You’ve got two intriguing hooks: the mystery of why his patients all died on the same day, and travelling back in time to confront a twenty year old secret.

I think it needs to be clearer in the logline how the ghost and time travel ideas are related, because at the moment it sounds like pitches for two different movies. Perhaps he travels back in time to find out why they all died, and discovers he is personally linked to their deaths?

Also, be careful with “travels back to his past”, because I’m not sure if it means time travel, or just revisiting his past. Maybe “travels back in time” is clearer.

    Here’s my attempt:

When a senior psychologist discovers his patients are all ghosts who died on the same day, he must travel back in time to find out why, confronting his dark past.
