The contract says:
He? has seven years to rent the house and pay of seven? million dollars.– seven tv seasons of pure Hell.
The Devil can only open the gates to hell if the owner of the house can not pay his debts in time.
Some of the people who rent the house are send by the Devil to open the gate, others are just at the wrong place at the wrong time, or aren’t they. It’s all? for a good cause –keeping the gate closed.,
All of the guests are made to believe the constant haunting is part of the new “Westworld” experience. So they pay much more for renting the house than would be normal.
