I like the concept. Doesn't need somef tweaking. "After a series of strange events" and "what powers" To vague; show don't tell. Saying the same thing twice: (1) "a witch with special powers". (2) "against"- "pushes" Also make the protag ACTIVE! Don't let her 'undergo' events, let her take CONTROL!

Based on true events. “On holiday, a vain German Luftwaffe officer and his family forget to disembark their train and end up in a Nazi dead camp, not keen on uninvited visitors.?

yes, I get what you mean Jax, but there is no grand twist, they must die so they can not bare witness of the genocide during and/or after the war.

When a vain Luftwaffe officer and his family accidently end up in a Nazi death camp, he must convince the overambitious camp commandant to spare their lives.?

Who is the hero? A vain Luftwaffe officer

Who is the antagonist? An overambitious camp commandant

What is the Quest? To convince the camp commandant to spare their lives

What is the hero?s flaw? He?s selfish

Where is the conflict? Stay ALIVE in a DEATH camp with an overambitious camp commandant

What?s at stake? The Aryan families lives —- them exposing a horrible truth

Genre: Dude with a Problem ?meets- Whydunit

We all know that evil lurks in the hearts of men. Greet happens. Murder happens. And unseen evildoers are responsible for it all. But the who? is never as interesting as the why?. Blake Snyder ? Save the Cat

Whydunit is in this story: ?During or after the war, the Luftwaffe officer and/or his family will not bare witness of the genocide in the death camp.

What is the tone? Black irony

    Irony:

A obvious Aryan (he still wears his uniform whitch he loves) must convince the camp commandant (a) they are not Jews (b) they will not bare witness of the genocide in the death camp.

    Killer title:

The Final Solution is also the ?final solution? for the, camp commandant, Franz Stangl his problem what to do with Aryans that can bare witness of the death camps genocide on Jews and Gipsies.?

    Audience and cost:

    Audience

    For those who:
? dont believe it ever happened (O0o0oh how wrong you can be)
? know it happened (those innocent lives lost ? to give them a voice)
? might have forgotten (least we CONTINUE to repeat history over and over again)
? need to learn from our history (people the world over, need to know)
? think it couldnt happen to them ( the Jews didnt want to believe that the Germans would be so cruel ? manny more possibly couldve been saved had they truly thought their lives were in danger)

For those who think its STILL not happening in our world ( remember Rwanda? the Sudan? Kenya? Who?s next?..YOU? )

    Cost: To much?!!!

At least 3 locations, not to talk about (a) how to get a vintage train (with little costs) (b) Treblinka does not exist anymore. There is nothing. Treblinka was destroyed by those who had built it and replaced with trees and shrubs. This means computer generation of still existing images (of Treblinka?s camp 1 and 2) in production phase? Pre-production? Using Blue screen, this often sucks. What did they do in other low budget (Hollywood) movies? Making a movie under 10 million dollars is near impossible I think. An example
    :
    Fateless (Sorstalans?) (2005)
    Country: Hungary
    costs : $ 12.000.000 gross: $ 195.888 dollars 8.125.750
    Filming locations:
    Paks, Hungary
    Budapest, Hungary *
    Duna?jv?ros, Hungary
    F?t Studios, Budapest, Hungary
    Piliscsaba, Hungary

    WEAKNESS:

    1. Why not immediately kill the family if they represent a clear and present danger?
The commandant finds himself in a unique situation, and thereby he?s not sure what to do; making a big mistake could cost him his job?
    2. It has no clear end. Hmmm, here we really have to keep the little suspense we have.
