When he forgets a new drug at a police officer’s house, a clumsy teenage drug-dealer must retrieve the stash and deliver the substance to an ex-chemist to replicate it.

(Peter) a teenage drug-dealer is tasked to deliver a new drug to an ex-chemist by his drug-lord and is given 2 days, however he is sidetracked by a girl on tinder. Whilst ‘hooking up’, her parents come home and he accidentally drops the drug on the floor whilst attempting to leave through her parents window where he realises her dad is a police officer. He’s the head of the drug unit. Peter later realises he left the drug at the house, and begins planning a heist. He successfully retrieves the drug however the police knew what he was doing the entire time and was using him to bust the cartel.

Why would an audience root for a drug dealer to succeed? What are the stakes? What will the kid gain if he (finally) delivers the drug? What does he stand to lose if he fails?

Why does the drug lord entrust such a mission critical job to an immature, foolish and unreliable newbie instead of giving the task to a tried and tested veteran?
