I was also going to ask why he gets custody - the fact that the wife wins in court suggests the husband has done something wrong - hence wouldn't get sole custody. If the wife was a drug addict or something it might happen. What if he lost all his money on the stock market making his wife walk out on him - leaving him to be the sole parent.
