A notoriously misogynistic 1940’s Texas police sheriff, awakens from a coma to discover that he is being haunted by the spirits of history’s most infamous women, who are on a mission to alter his chauvinistic ways during which they assist him in solving criminal cases.

I like the possibilities of humor with this idea. It's going to have to be pretty wacky or else why would the worlds most infamous women even bother?

I like the hook. I think it has real potential. I'm not as sure about the time period. And, after all, you kept the original hook but flipped on the character type (FBI agent instead of sheriff) and time period (50's instead of 40's). So...

I agree that the hook should be these ghosts helping this man. But I thought that the who and why could be answered with this particular time period.
