Good points all. I definitely took some inspiration from BTF 2 for the story, but the logline isn't much to explain it. Back to the drawing board.

Thanks Lee, I appreciate the feedback. I wasn't sure about the question at the end, that will probably come out. You're right about it being vague, I'm thinking on how to fix it so it matches the story better

This is very confusing. Should it read a 10 year old? Why is he a detective, was there a crime committed? The father/step-mother/mother part is sort of clumsy, that could use some work.
