Father and daughter reconnecting is a good base for a story and can make for an interesting film, however, the cannibalism feels like it's tacked on as a click bate device more than a plot necessity. If cannibalism was somehow a part of their lives then it would fit in better, right now it feels like an external add on for 'crazy' effect.

The good news: I have never seen this movie. Die hard I have seen (Die hard on a plane, die hard on a train, die hard in the white house) Boy meets girl boy does something stupid, boy makes grand gesture I have seen before... but father and daughter going to a restaurant that serves human meat... so you have that going for you.

However, as others point out, the goal starts off with his desire to reconnect with his daughter but his actions are to protect his daughters innocence. In the logline you should explain how those connect or at least explain why he does not just walk out and go to McDonald's.

Maybe they could bond if in the end they discover they have eaten her mother and his ex-wife??? No? okay my bad, not good at all.

Furthermore, what is the main action the the MC will take?
I just can't see enough 'meat on the bones' (pun intended) for a whole feature length story.
