Raymond Traster, an ex‑soldier haunted by a traumatic mission that shattered his moral compass, lives quietly in the Emirates, trying to rebuild his life through discipline, routine, and acts of service. But when he witnesses a deadly incident tied to Marshal Patrick Walsh—head of a powerful private security empire—Raymond becomes an unwitting threat to a covert operation designed to seize control of the nation’s upcoming Expo security contract. As the Marshal’s network moves to eliminate loose ends, Raymond is framed with ten kilos of cocaine planted in his locker, triggering a police manhunt led by Officer Conar, who is secretly investigating the Marshal for past crimes. Forced to flee after a violent confrontation with federal agents, Raymond uses his combat training and instincts to track down Khalid, the driver who unknowingly helped set him up, uncovering the first threads of a conspiracy reaching from corrupt officials to foreign operatives. Meanwhile, General Basooqi—one of the few honest leaders—gets arrested under fabricated charges, clearing the path for the Marshal’s rise. As Raymond races to expose the truth and clear his name, he becomes the only person capable of stopping a destabilizing plot that threatens national security and could ignite an international crisis. Shadow of the Emirates blends action, political intrigue, and emotional depth as Raymond transforms from a broken veteran into a relentless force fighting to reclaim justice in a system built to silence him.

So... what's the plot?

That he's a threat is a static statement. Loglines should be *dynamic* statements. PROtagonists need to be PROactive.

I pose a threat to a dandelion I see in my yard. What's my course of action? What specifically am I going to do about it? Am I going to be PROactive, go outside and pull it out? Or.... As long as I'm only a "threat", there's no plot in my lawn scenario. I am not a worthy Protagonist. The dandelion will remain and propagate.

So, what action is your protagonist going to take? What is his specific objective goal/game plan to defeat the conspiracy?
