I think Hitler's dauhter would make the better protagonist. She is the one that must struggle with right and wrong between her father and the new love ingerest.

Meeting him would be her inciting incident.

I agree it's a little confusing. It may be a bit too long and unclear. I think you should pay attention to the key elements. Also I think that despite what I do not like, it sounds interesting enough to interest me.
