When Leanne — a Christian Fundamentalist — experiences the after-life, she rejects the church led by her oppressive father to carry on a secret affair with a new-age healer who — after impregnating her — reveals himself as a phony. Now Leanne must strike out on her own where she realizes her path to God is being the life-giving, all-loving mother to her child and the world.

Thanks for your critique and encouragement. The goal here is to show how we all have our own path to spiritual fulfillment. I may go forward and write this.

A daring post. Not many hollywood movies would give theirs a religious end. Keep it up. Still I'd say you could ditch giving a name to your character in loglines you could use their occupation or life status e.g a young farm girl or a 20 yr-old conservative etc. And perhaps not to reveal your story's ending but add a thrill to the last line.
