    A whimsical young woman must capture the xxx to defeat the xxx to save a world exists only in her dreams.

    Okay not your story, but you can see how it sets out the beats of the story.

    Is there actual time travel? try this "location of a diamond stolen by her father." ?Then perhaps give the diamond some gravity "a diamond worth millions stolen by her father" But what does she want out of all this? ?Dorothy wanted to get home out of OZ. ?Is that her goal?
