    This is more of a marketing line. Desparate to meet his deadline a writer is out of his depth trying get cocaine to feed his addicted more talented friend cocaine to write the screenplay. We need some action to understand the story.

    Think goal. After getting help for her son only to find he is getting worse a Mum ..... but ....... That sort of thing. But if getting help is half the story? Look for the one thread that ties the two halves and use that.

    The only thing you need to add is some detail around the family responsible. Being specific in a logline that explains a well worn genre, like revenge.
